Why does everybody say chatting is cheating..I have been happily married for 16 yrs and about 6 yrs ago i started chatting online..I dont do it anymore cause i got bored with it but i see no problem with it and my husband had no problem with it either it was no big deal and yes i chatted mostly with men but never talked any sexual stuff cause that would have been wrong..So i dont see chatting as cheating.
It's not wrong. My boyfriend did the sexual talk though with gals, and my thought about that was if he wanted to talk sex with other females then he should not be with me. But there is no problem what so ever if you just talk to someone onlinchatting onlinee. If it's clean then it's not cheating. It's called making friends.

Yours wasn't in any way...it can be mind broadening, it can be fun, it can be exciting...but it is virtual, no more, no less. You kept it in perspective...some do not. When the heart becomes involved in this silliness, that is considered, to some extent, cheating. Emotional cheating is stupid, a waste of time, but none the less, some invest love into thin air when they could have invested it into their relationship.

In your case it was not cheating. They say it is cheating if you are going behind your spouses chatting onlineback, and you are chatting about sexual things, or building an emotional relationship.

Women especially like to have people to talk to, just to get things off of our minds too.
As long as your not doing anything, that you wouldn't be doing, with your husband in the same room, there's nothing wrong with it.
When you have something to hide, that's when you have to worry about cheating.
If its with the same people all the time it can become emotional cheating. But if you are just talking to random people and its fairly innocent then I don't see anything wrong with it.
